In the 1980's Italian winemakers found that they could enhance the overall appeal of their Cabernet Sauvignon by using Sangiovese as a blending variety.  These wines came to be known as "Super Tuscans" and today are highly sought after.  Our 2003 Viviano features grapes from the Newsom family vineyard on the Texas High Plains.

This truly unique wine compares the "terroir" of Texas to noble grape varieties of France and Italy.

We recommend Viviano be served with rich, full flavored foods, such as lamb, fine cuts of aged beef,  wild game, and rich pastas.  For maximum flavor and bouquet we recommend that you decant this wine 1/2 hour prior to serving.
