NOTES:  The 2004 Llano Estacado Merlot is a blend of wines from grapes grown in two different premier Texas grape growing districts; Far West Texas and the Texas High Plains. Merlot is one of the most popular red wines grown in Texas, this unique blend is composed of 87.9% Merlot, 11.1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Syrah. This blend displays forward cherry fruit in the bouquet, well textured in the mouth with coffee-toasty flavors in the finish.

Merlot is a perfect wine to enjoy with most any meal. Serve this wine with grilled chicken, pork-chops, and prime cuts of beef, wild game, venison, duck or turkey.

This wine is ready to drink now or will continue to improve in complexity through 2007.
