NOTES: Shiraz is the among the fastest growing varietals in the country. Llano's Shiraz is made in a velvety smooth, textured, full flavored Australian style. Consumer demand for Llano Estacado Shiraz has been so strong that it has required us to source grapes from beyond the Texas border. Our 1998 planting of this variety is now well into production and we continue to increase our Texas grape yield with every year.

Until we have enough Texas production of quality grapes we will continue to work with small producers in the California Central Coast (Paso Robles) to assure ongoing production of premium wine.

This 2004 Shiraz is a blend of wines from Texas and California. The Texas Shiraz is from the Mont Sec Vineyard (Far West Texas). Llano Shiraz is a special wine, an expression of it's Texas influence with remarkable flavor and character.
