In the 1980's Italian winemakers found that they could enhance the overall appeal of their Cabernet Sauvignon by using Sangiovese as a blending variety.  These wines came to be known as "Super Tuscans", a superior red wine or as the Italians say, a "Superiore Rosso".

The 2005 Viviano features 100% grapes from the Newsom family vineyard on the Texas High Plain.

This truly unique wine reveals  the "terroir" of Texas applied to the noble grape varieties of France and Italy.

We recommend Viviano be served with rich, full flavored foods, pastas with rich marinara sauce, fine cuts of aged beef,  or wild game dishes.  For maximum flavor and bouquet we recommend that you decant this wine 1/2 hour prior to serving.
