Llano Estacado 2007 Cellar Reserve Merlot is 100% Merlot from the Newsom Vineyard.  The Newsom Vineyard is located in Plains, Texas, the highest point above sea level in the Texas High Plains AVA.  This vineyard produces some of the best Merlot grapes grown in Texas.  Our winemaking protocol results in a wine that is smooth and rich with elegant tannins and a complex bouquet; expressing currant and plum flavors.

Serve Cellar Reserve Merlot at a cool room temperature (58-70F) with Texas beef tenderloin, wild game or pasta.  When consumed in moderation, this wine is a healthy complement to any meal.  Enjoy!
