NOTES:   Our 2003 Cellar Reserve Chardonnay was made exclusively from grapes grown on the Mont Sec Vineyard (Far West Texas). This wine is 100% barrel fermented as characterized by the sweet, toasty oak flavor. To enhance richness in the mouth and aromatic complexity, this wine has completed secondary fermentation or "malo-lactic fermentation".

Our Cellar Reserve Chardonnay will improve in complexity with extended bottle age, through 2005. At the winery we have allowed 4 months of bottle aging prior to release. This wine should be enjoyable by the glass or a perfect complement to any meal. Compatible spices include almond, dill, saffron, rosemary and marjoram.
