NOTES: The 2005 Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Newsom Vineyard. The Newsom family vineyard is located near Plains, Texas where, at an elevation of 3,800 feet above sea level, it is the highest vineyard in the Texas High Plains American Viticulture Appellation.
The 2005 Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent example of the fine wines that are being produced in Texas. This Cabernet Sauvignon has a rich compliment of tannins that will allow it to age well in the bottle for the next 5 years.
Serve Cabernet Sauvignon at a cool room temperature (57-60 F) with Texas beef tenderloin, lamb or wild game. This red wine is a healthy complement to any meal. Enjoy!
