NOTES:  The 2005 Llano Estacado Merlot is a blend of wines from grapes grown in two premier Texas grape growing districts; Far West Texas and the northern extreme of the Texas High Plains.  Merlot is one of the most popular red wines in Texas.  This unique blend is composed of  99.5% Merlot and .5% Sangiovese. Marked by blackberry and cherry in the bouquet, this wine is well textured and smooth in the mouth.

Merlot is a perfect wine to enjoy with most any meal.  Serve this wine with  grilled chicken, pork-chops, and prime cuts of beef, wild game, venison, duck or turkey.

This wine is ready to drink now or will continue to improve in complexity with additional bottle age.
